Classic Southern BBQ Chain Fires Up the Grill for Three New Gourmet Burgers at Participating Locations June 15-July 31

Jacksonville, Fl., June 1, 2021 – As summer approaches and childhood memories of the heavenly aroma of burgers on the grill return, the Pitmasters at Woody’s Bar-B-Q showcase their grilling expertise with a tasty trio of gourmet burgers, available for a limited time only at participating locations. Designed to trigger the tastebuds of the classic Southern BBQ chain’s growing fan base, each new “Locked and Loaded” burger features a 1/2-pound of ground Black Angus steak at its core – perfectly prepared to lock in the flavor. Loaded with toppings that are right on target in the taste department, patrons will need two steady hands to hold on tight until the very last bite!

“Following the awesome reception our Gone Fishin’ limited time offer received earlier this year, we’re really excited to see the response to these imaginative new burgers,” said Yolanda Mills-Mawman, Co-Founder and President of Woody’s Bar-B-Q. “Our chain is 41 years old with a very established menu of BBQ favorites and comfort food sides, but we still love to innovate and bring something new to the table. While burgers don’t really have a season and can be enjoyed any time of the year, summer is the perfect time for this release. We believe it will blow the concept of a backyard barbecue out of the water. And I can personally attest, they taste as good as they look. Our Hawaiian Burger on the regular Woody’s Bar-B-Q menu was once a limited time offer. I could definitely see one – if not all three – of these new offerings performing well enough among our guests to score a permanent position on our menu, too.”

Blue Cheese Burger
This bold blue cheese burger is virtually bullet-proof! Sure to be a fan favorite, it showcases a 1/2-pound Black Angus steak patty topped with melted blue cheese, cool lettuce, ripe tomato, a crisp slice of red onion and just the right amount of ketchup and mayo on a toasted bun.
The Muzzle
Mushroom Swiss Burger
Mushrooms and swiss aren’t the only ingredients in the chamber for this burger with an unexpected kick. The secret is in our expertly grilled 1/2-pound Black Angus steak patty and toasted bun slathered in garlic butter and our tangy horseradish sauce. Rounding out this mighty mushroom masterpiece are sauteed mushrooms, sauteed onions, a slice of swiss, cool lettuce and a ripe red tomato.

One bite of this burger and you’re going to want an immediate reload! Woody’s tops a 1/2-pound black angus steak burger with our original recipe mac and cheese, even MORE cheese, lettuce, tomato and a crispy crown of onion straws.
