Classic Southern Barbecue Chain Debuts a Trio of Potato-Based Menu Items for a Limited Time Beginning February 15

Jacksonville, Fl., February 11, 2019 – With National Potato Lover’s Month coinciding with the very SAME month devoted to celebrating the concept of love, Woody’s BBQ is excited to debut three new potato-based menu items it hopes its patrons will adore. Only available during the months of February and March, the Spectacular Spud Celebration at participating Woody’s BBQ locations kicks off February 15.

“As a classic ‘meat & potatoes’ concept that’s been around since 1980, we believe these three new menu items will be a big hit with our fans,” said Yolanda Mills-Mawman, President and COO of Woody’s BBQ. “Many of the items on our menu have been staples of our concept since we first opened our doors, so it’s fun to get creative and shake things up with a limited time offer or two – or in this case THREE – from time to time. The limited time offers that are met with the most acclaim sometimes find their way onto our regular menu, so we’re eager to see the response to these new items. While we already offer baked potatoes, French fries, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and potato salad on a daily basis, I believe there could be room for another new potato-inspired item or two.”

The three new limited time offer items that make up the Spectacular Spud Celebration at Woody’s BBQ include:

• Couch Potatoes: A blend of Beef Brisket, the chain’s renowned “Sloppy Woody” and melted Cheddar Jack Cheese are all comfortably seated together on a perfectly prepared Potato Skin under a cozy blanket of Ranch Dressing.
• Hipster Home Fries: Bringing new meaning to the term “Hot Potato,” these trendy taters are tossed in Olive Oil and seasoned with the ideal balance of Garlic Salt and Parmesan.
• Bacon Cheesy Ranch Fries: Woody’s starts with a layer of its crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside Crinkle Cut French Fries, then triples their flavor factor by topping them with melted Cheddar Jack Cheese, finely chopped Bacon and Ranch Dressing for a taste sensation that will have guests coming back for more!
